Catalina Backcountry offers several Guided Day Hike options for those wishing to expore the Backcountry of Catalina - with limited time.

We also offer Backcountry Trail Support Services for hikers, backpackers, campers, and cyclists. Here at Catalina Backcountry, we can help make your island adventure easy and enjoyable by coordinating all aspects of your visit.

The Trans-Catalina Trail stretches 37.2 miles from the Renton Mine Trailhead on the East End to Starlight Beach on the West End. It winds up hills and down valleys offering spectacular views across the 43,000-acre Nature Preserve of the Catalina Island Conservancy known as Catalina's "Interior." This trail can be enjoyed by both hikers and cyclists.
